Merry Christmas 2011
By · CommentsMerry Christmas to everyone. The holidays can be a time of great joy, but it can be a time of stress and anxiety. A brother in community wrote this today:
“We never have the grace to try to live out the future in our present thoughts. It’s good to have some realism in our expectations of the future, but we don’t really know what is out there for us, and the grace that we have is for this moment in time, today, here and now. I’m glad for the grace and glad for the moment. Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!”
Photos – Festival of Lessons & Carols
By · CommentsOur 2011 Lessons and Carols was held on Sunday evening Dec 4th with over 100 people in attendance. What a great event to kick off the Advent season as we prepare to celebrate the birth of Jesus. The weather was perfect, as was the all the appetizers that people brought. The highlight, of course, were the scripture readings and personal reflections. Thanks to all who came, and to all who helped with this special occasion.
